Nagle Weir

This guaging weir is built above a rapid. Directly below the weir is a natural rock weir and then and then a long easy rapid that ends at the headwaters of Nagle Dam.

Shoot straight down the slot and then hook hard left. Try to go extreme left and go down the wide channel in the natural weir. There is another tricky little channel through the natural weir which is slightly faster. This option is left of centre after the slot and becomes a viable alternative in a single at 8+ cumecs.

After the natural weir stay in the main channel, which is the centre channel through the islands.
